Warranty
We offer a 6 months structural warranty.
When exposed to the harsh environment of sun, rain, temperature and humidity changes, the timber and finishes used change to suit the environment.
As timber is a living product it is responsive to environmental changes and the environment may affect appearance and performance. Occasionally some splits and cracks may develop as it responds to the environment and these are not to be considered a fault or a flaw and will not compromise the construction of any furniture we make here at Wellbuilt Furniture. Any naturally occurring changes such as shrinkage, expansion, bowing, splitting and colour change are not covered under our 6 months structural warranty. This warranty does not cover non-structural defects in the timber, or lack of maintenance resulting in the advancement of this process.
The timber will adjust to it environment the most within the first 12 months. You may also notice that as your table adjusts to its new environment, cracks in the natural surface start to open and close within the timber; do not be alarmed, this is a completely normal part of the timber’s adjustment process, even if they look large! This change will not affect the structural integrity of the table. You may also notice shrinkage in the timber, again this is a totally normal part of the process.
Remember, your table spent most of its life as a living tree so it may take a while for it to adjust to its new life!
